Want to enjoy some of the best food around Cobb? Here’s a list of the best hidden gem restaurants that IYKYN and if you don’t, you’re missing out.
Gracious Plenty
Located on Canton Street in Roswell, Gracious Plenty is a locally owned eatery serving breakfast, lunch, and a variety of homemade baked goods. Get there early and prepare to stand in line, but trust me, it’s worth the wait.
El Serranito
This local spot is most certainly a hidden gem. Located inside of a gas station in Woodstock, GA, you go here for the tacos. Voted the ‘Best Hole in the Wall Mexican Food’ you most certainly don’t want to pass this one by.
VUU Asian Bistro
While VUU is currently only offering curbside delivery, this is one of my all-time favorite places for sushi. Located conveniently off Hwy 92 in Roswell, their food is delicious and the portions are plenty.
Cylantros
Craving some Venezuelan food? Look no further. This hidden gem is attached to a gas station, but don’t let that deter you. Their empanada and arepas are simply mouthwatering. Rumor has it they’ll be opening another location in Roswell soon.
Crave Burger & Wings
If you are looking to satisfy your hunger with a fresh made burger and crispy tator tots, give Crave a try. Located in Woodstock next door to Publix at the Centre at Woodstock, I have never been disappointed with a meal here. It’s one you’re sure to crave.
Freakin’ Incan
Who wants some Peruvian Street Food? In Roswell, near Movie Tavern, you’ll find this hidden gem serving up some delicious yucca fries and mouth-watering Chicharron De Chancho. That’s fried pork if you’re wondering. And it’s to die for.
Firestone Grill
Hot numbing peppers. A favorite of my hubby. This Authentic Szechuan Chinese cuisine is THE PLACE to go. Located in Kennesaw off Cobb Place Parkway. Firestone is a great place for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and the food is wonderful.
Tasty China
Here they specialize authentic traditional Chinese Szechuan style cooking. The dishes are fresh and made to order. Their website states, “Our focus is to give you the experience of rich, full flavor and quality guest services.” And you won’t be disappointed. My absolute favorite item on their menu is the Shan City Pork Belly.
The bottom line.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Often times the freshest, most delicious treats are hidden in the most unlikely places. Around Cobb you’ll find a restaurant to satisfy any taste and I hope you’ll give some of these hidden gems a try.
