I LOVE BRUNCH!! Who’s with me?
There’s just something about meeting up with my favorite people and having a nice, relaxing meal and I certainly can’t pass up a good Poinsettia (champagne & cranberry) when life allows.
So, here’s my list of great brunch spots in Marietta.
Red Eyed Mule
The Red Eyed Mule, located at 430 S Marietta Parkway SE in Marietta is a fan favorite. Claiming to have the best biscuits and burgers in Cobb, I had to give them a try. I’m a sucker for both. And wow! So good. To top it off, the hospitality was top notch, too. I don’t know that I can pick a favorite item, but I can tell you biscuits and gravy are comfort food for me… and well, I was completely satisfied after trying this dish.
The Marietta Local
The Marietta Local, offering dine in and curbside pickup has to be on our list of best brunch spots. I mean, come on. Chicken and French Toast. Okay! Twist my arm. The Marietta Local is located at 148 Roswell Street NE. They’re open 10a – 2p on weekdays (closed Wednesday), and 9a – 2p both Saturday and Sunday. They serve up delicious plates like I mentioned above, but also have biscuits, salads, and sandwiches. You’re certain to find something you love at The Marietta Local.
Crooked Tree Cafe
Crooked Tree Café’s offers a delicious twist on classic breakfast and lunch items offering smoked meats, homemade sauces and jams, and a selection of locally sourced vegetables. Open Tuesday – Sunday 8a- 2p, stop by 915 Cobb Parkway N, sit down and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.
Basecamp Kennesaw
Basecamp Kennesaw’s convenient location near Kennesaw Mountain is a quaint restaurant located at 1718 Old 41 Hwy in Marietta. While they do offer curbside pickup, I encourage you to stop in for a visit. Order their breakfast burrito (my favorite) and let me know how you like it.
First Watch
First Watch just opened a new location at Sandy Plains Marketplace, located at 3460 Sandy Plains Road. I must admit, this is my go-to for breakfast meet-ups and they never disappoint. Every time I go, I order the Kale Tonic. It’s refreshing and delicious. But, I think my most favorite thing to get at First Watch is their Million Dollar Bacon. It’s a treat, for sure. Their menu has something for everyone from traditional breakfast to more health-conscious items. They also offer dine in, carry out, and delivery. Their family meal deals are exceptional and more than enough to feed my family of four.
The Bottom Line
There are tons of great options for brunch in Marietta. Whether it’s a weekday meeting with a client or a family meal on the weekends, this is my rotation of great spots to grab some brunch. Have another place I should try? Comment below. I love trying new places.
