Where are my gardener’s at? Every year, around this time, my family and I spend the weekend planting fresh flowers in all the planters and planting our annual “salsa garden”. I’m here with a list of some pretty amazing places that you are going to want to visit whether you just want on porch plant or an entire garden!
Kelli Green Nursery
This local nursery is my go-to for porch plants, herbs, and soil. I love their variety and the staff is really helpful in assisting you with the right choice. I have a challenging yard, where my front porch gets barely any sun, but my back porch gets pummeled with heat. By working with the staff at Kelli Green, they’ve helped me pick plants that thrive in their respective environments.
Twin Branch Nursery
Twin Branch Nursery, located in Woodstock, is a very large, outdoor nursery where you can find a wide variety of plants and trees. All of the plants around my pool have come from Twin Branch. The staff there is always helpful and attentive. If you have a question, just ask – they’re there to help.
Pike Nursery
Pike Nurseries offers a more retail feel to the shopping experience, but don’t be fooled. Their employee-owned nurseries have a ton to offer. From large jobs to small gardens, they’re there to help. Pike also offer a guarantee on their plants, which means you can buy with confidence.
Buck Jones
I was first introduced to Buck Jones Nursery by my landscaper. This nursery has several locations across metro Atlanta and have been serving the residents for more than 40 years. All things landscaping can be achieved at Buck Jones. Stop in. Ask questions. You won’t be disappointed.
The Bottom Line
With many great landscaping and gardening options around Cobb – shop around. Find a good fit for your needs. These places are here to help so that you can garden with confidence no matter your skill level.
