Sometimes you just want to take your best friend to dinner with you… even if that best friend is your sweet dog! Did you know that there are several restaurants around Cobb actually let you bring your furry friend with you? It’s true! Here’s a list of a some local spots that let you bring your dog along.
Moxie Burger & Moxie Taco
Always welcoming. Wonderfully delicious. And super dog-friendly. Moxie Burger is one of our consistent go-to’s when eating out with our pup. Not only are the burgers delicious, but their patio is spacious and inviting. The nice servers will bring you a bowl of water – and a couple of times, our pup has been offered her own special treat.
Mellow Mushroom
Another family favorite. We love the large outdoor area at Mellow Mushroom. The patio is nicely shaded and there are always fans running to keep the air moving in the hot, Georgia summers. Here, too, they will bring you a water bowl for your pup and there’s a side gate entry to come and go with ease.
MOD Pizza
We must like pizza!? MOD Pizza has a small, but gated patio that is great for enjoying their made-to-order pizza with your beloved pup.
Lucky’s Burger & Brew
Named after the owner’s beloved Golden Retriever, Lucky, this place is a dog-lover’s paradise. Relax on their patio with your best friend and enjoy any one of their delicious burgers and ice cold beer. Lucky’s has locations in Roswell, Town Brookhaven, and Marietta Square.
The Daily Draft
As is much of downtown Woodstock, The Daily Draft has a pet-friendly patio with dog bowls and and friendly atmosphere. The highlight of your trip here will be trying any number of beers from their taps on demand.
Reformation Brewery
Always a favorite gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, Reformation Brewery has a large green space with plenty of picnic tables, Adirondack chairs and shade. You will always find a number of dogs hanging out in the lawn while their owner’s visit with friends over a nice cold beverage.
The Bottom Line
We travel with our pup, Murphy a lot. A wonderful resource has been the Bring Fido app when on the road. It’s always nice finding pet friendly places!
